Asaf Gottesman has an Honours Degree from Columbia University in Art History  and Comparative Literature. He attained his Architectural Diploma from the Architectural Association in London in 1992 and is a chartered RIBA member. He is also a registered Architect in both France and Israel.

 

In 1992 A. Gottesman Architecture Ltd., was established in Israel and quickly became a leading architectural practice in the domain of luxury private homes. In 2003, Asaf co-founded Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture in Paris. The international practice has earned several international awards and numerous publications. The practice has a host projects in Europe and Israel, as well as, projects in NYC.

 

As of 2005, A. Gottesman has increasingly coupled his architectural activities with Real Estate Development and as of 2018 is fully focused on "Architecture Led Developments." 

 

A. Gottesman is the author of The Architectural Condition; an ibook that analyses the effectiveness and vulnerabilities of the architectural profession and proposes alternative working models.
